It is Summer and it is hot, hot, hot

January 22, 2017 in Blog

Wow am I wilting in this crazy heat – another day of over 34 here and it is too hot to do much outside so I am in here – updating the website and planning for the year ahead.

Sadly last weekends Queanbeyan Market was cancelled due to the high winds that went through the park the night before. It damaged a lot of the trees and brought down limbs. For safety of both the public and stall holders it was decided to cancel the markets – which was a good call! I had made 20 Rosie bands that afternoon before – but not to worry – the girls at work are excited that I will be bringing them in to work to sell.

I have a lot (and I mean a lot!!!!!!) of gorgeous fabrics to make up ladies aprons which will be a priority next week. This week I am cutting dresses for the other project I am involved in, because we are sewing next Sunday!!

I have a lot to produce over the next weeks, but it is always fun and does keep me busy – all I can say is hooray for air con.

So in February I have 3 markets – Hall, Queanbeyan and 360. Plus I am scoping out Murrumbateman Markets too – but will let you know what I think after I have a see this Saturday – please pop into the Calendar in the side bar for more info!

I am looking forward to a fun filled year and hope you are too

With love always
